I just received a phone call from Howard for an interview (my first one🙂) for this Friday (Oct 26). It gives me very short notice and I was wondering if any one has had an interview there recently. All the interviews on the interview feedback are from the last cycle. Does anyone have any advice for this Fri? Should I bring a portfolio? Any suggestions about interviews or attire (for ladies) would be great.

Congrats on your interview! I didn't interview at Howard but I wore black pants suit with a light color button collar shirt inside. I did bring a padfolio and only had to use it at one of my interviews to jot down names and the schedule for the day.

When did you get your "app complete" email from Howard? I'm still waiting to hear from them.

I could have taken the friday interview but opted for the tuesday one. Did you check out the hotel prices....crazy expensive. I went with the red roof inn finally, about 150. Im flying into Dulles, although its about a $55-60 cab ride to the hotel 🙁. C'est la vie non?

Yeah I did the same thing maybe we get together and share a room and cab fees. I will be there on Thurs night for the interview on Fri. Flying into Regan airport at midnight and staying at the Red Roof for 160.

Okay.... I don't know if I am just paranoid..... but I called Howard last week b/c I wanted to know for certain that they received my money order (sent in late july) b/c I had no confirmation of anything. When I called the lady put me on hold while she checked and said to me "yes we have your M.O" but then when I said "is my file complete" she said "have you taken DAT?" I said Yes and she put me on hold again then came back and said "we now have everything"......
I took my DAT in Late AUGUST!! She made it seem like she just realized that my file is complete now when I called her and its just starting the process. Do you think they didnt realize my file was done until I called?😡

They sent me an email stating they needed the fee on 7/5 and then said they received my fee on 7/18. I didn't retake my DAT until 8/15. Did anyone who had interviews bring extra stuff like a resume, extra copy of your personal statement, volunteer proof, etc? Or pretty much just bring yourself and a lot of luck?

I was contacted and told they would appreciate it if I could send the m.o within 10 days, but I never received an application complete email as some people have thats why I am worried

thats how howard does it. they will not contact you unless they are missing something. dont get too worked up over it.
