HOWARD.... I know this is probably unlikely

Hey, I just got this message from Howard today. has anyone gotten an interview invite after recieving this?? It's too late for me, isn't it?? Also, I do not know why it is dated March 5.

Thank you for applying to Howard University College of Medicine.
I am writing to inform you that we have received and reviewed your AMCAS application and your secondary application. Secondary applications were reviewed on a rolling basis when they were received.
We are completing our final interview days, and we expect to continue interviewing through the end of April, but no later than mid-May.
If it is decided to invited you for an interview with one of our Admissions Committee members, we will inform you of available dates by email. However, due to the large volume of applications, if we are not able to invite you to the College of Medicine for an interview, you will receive no further correspondence from our office regarding interim status.
Please do not contact the Office of Admissions to request an interview.
Applicants who have completed the application process, and who have not received an invitation to interview by May 15 should receive final written notification via US mail in mid-June.

It could be true. Howard was still interviewing in June last year.

Honestly, i still think you have a GREAT chance..cus the truth of the matter is..alot of people turn Howard down at the end of the day..even at my interview only like 3 out of the 15 were sure they would go there if they were to be admitted..which is a really low number...honestly I would hang tight and maybe send a letter of INTEREST to them just in case..it cant hurt you know...If you really want Howard let them know! Good luck!

yah you're right.

I had kind of given up on them. Last month I called them a couple of times and emailed Ms. Walk like three times saying how I would be greta for the school. Now that I think about it, I do not know if a letter of interest would help, seeing as they are always sooooo backlogged.

When I called them last month, the lady that answers the phone ( you know who I mean) said that she reviewed my application and remembered me, btu "At this time I was not granted an interview". Then she went on to mention stuff about international applicants ( come on is Canada really thst foreign???). So she bascially said that because I was foreign, I wasn't getting an interview yet. That sucks. I know I would be good for Howard. Well, I guess it's there loss???😳 🙁 😳

hehe....i have zero interviews and zero acceptances but im not gonna mug anyone. actually, i've recieved the same email...still waiting patiently. if not...o well...there's always next time!
