Howard University Q about letter in mail

I received a letter in the mail saying I needed to complete two courses by the spring. I also have a pretty low pcat but the letter didn't say to retake. Is this a pre interview letter? or sent to all applicants? For those of you who received interviews to howard, what were ur stats? did you receive this letter before you got your interview?

I got the same letter from them and they will not even consider you for an interview until all the prereqs are completed for some reason. I decided to withdraw my app from there because it is not truly anywhere near my #1 choice of schools and called the admissions office and the woman was VERY nasty to me. I tld her I wanted to withdraw my application and she said to just not respond to emails/letters sent to me...how unprofessional. That just made me not want to go there even more. I have low stats also, you can check my pharmapps if you want. But I hope this helped.

Hmmmm, according to PharmCAS, Howard gives all applicants up to spring 2010 to complete all courses before matriculation. Is this problem only with Howard U.? Moni526, what courses? Non-science courses?

In October I was called for an interview at Howard without showing them that I had completed all the pre-reqs in the letter they gave me.

I'm pretty sure they will let you interview if you plan to complete the pre-reqs.

Hey guys. I am a 1st year at Howard pharmacy. The letter is just to let you know that you need to finish those pre reqs before you can be considered for admission. You can still get an interview and everything but if you are accepted without having finished your pre reqs then you get a "conditional admittance" letter. You will then have to finish all pre reqs before Aug of the upcoming school year or you forfeit your spot. Good Luck!!
