Heys guys,
Well, I just started my fourth week of pharm school ,and i love it..

I hope all you guys are having a good experience also...

How are you all adjusting to the workload.?

Goodluck P1s

actually, the workload seems ok so far. I am starting my externship at Children's Hospital tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes....However, this only my second week 🙂

I have managed to keep up my procrastination skills so it hasn't been that bad. We'll see what I say after I spend all night studying for a big exam. The first batch of exams starts in a couple of weeks. Everyone seems to be friendly and willing to help you suceed. I feel a tad bit behind because of all the pharmacy experience most other students have. Let the learning begin!

Wow, you guys start so early! I still have one week of summer left 😀

I'm in my second week of school. So far, it's not too bad. Pharmacology has just been a review of last semester. They want to be sure that we remember everything from last year before we get into actual drugs this week. Therapeutics is moving quickly and it's a lot of studying, but the material is not difficult. Med chem is the same as med chem last year. Dose optimization is just equations, logs and calculating area under a curve for drug kinetics. The other classes are the touchy feely types. Not hard, but time consuming when you really want to study for the harder classes.

Good Luck to everyone this year.

I'm in the middle of my second week. So far everything's good (ask me this in a few weeks and you'll probably get a different answer). Had my first Physiological Basis of Disease quiz today and I'm pretty sure I got 10/10 so that's good. It's a lot of work and a lot of studying but nothing that I can't handle. The hardest part is sitting down to watch the lectures. I really like the video format though, it allows me to stop and replay something until I understand it.
