I'm not a resident however I interviewed there earlierfor prelim med and I personally know some of their former residents. I was not that impressed with this program--Its at the bottom of my rank list. Its a busy program. average training, decent hospital (a US world newser). But I think there's a lot of internal politics and its very difficult to get into a fellowship unless you are 'popular' with the attendings especially with the fellowships Luthern offers. I even heard of people who finished their residencies having trouble getting work... but that may just be do to the competitiveness of the Chicago area job market, however it did sound like the attendings did not help either. But nonetheless its in Chicago (Park Ridge) and there are definitely worse programs. good luck!🙂
