I had the 4155 and loved it. Just hated the Windows and ultimately sold it on eBay to go with the Palm platform again. The size was perfect -- very, very small.

so is Palm really the way to go? I figured maybe since I'm familiar with windows a pocket pc would be nice. will it make that big of a difference if I do get the pocket pc?

I have used both OS for quite a number of years. Both have their strong and weak points. Nobody can say one is better the other. It depends totally on which platform you like better.

As for me, I am now using the Axim x50v. I love it becoz of its VGA display -- clear and crisp -- good for my eyes, esp reading ebooks and iSilo texts for long hours. I also have a TX but mainly my wife is using it as a PIM organizer.

It is hard to predict the trend nowadays, as to whether Palm OS or WM5 is the way to go. Just try out both first before you decide which one to invest in. But if you are a beginner in this field, and mainly use for PIM and medical references only, go for Palm. However, if you want a crisp display (VGA), only Pocket PCs have it at the moment.
