I am very interested in the 3 year program and am currently in my first year of dental school. Do u think its to late for me to apply for this program given that a lot of boards have already been held?

Talk to a recruiter from each branch and see what kind of timeline each branch is in.

For the Air Force at least, the board met either this week or will meet next week and the results are released next Thursday (12/15). I would check out the army for sure, they allegedly have some 3 years this year (although I am unsure how many and when the deadline was/is).
