Anyone have success being selected for hpsp with below average stats? I’m applying for navy with 3.59 GPA and 19AA. Already accepted to dental school

I’m basically finished with the whole application.. MEPS, interviews and all. So should have my application in by the first board in January

I personally wouldn’t call your stats below average, more like average. But, I’m not the one making the call. I think you’re in the running.

I’ve been accepted to PA school (Oct 1) and I contacted a recruiter the same day. The recruiter told me not to bother him until February.... does anyone know why this might be? I thought I could start an application for HPSP as soon as I was accepted.
