Starting this year, my school's dental program (UTHSC) is cutting out summer break altogether in an effort to make a lighter load for the rest of the year. I know all branches (Army in my case) require 45 days of officer training during the summers...will they work with me to get around this?

If your school's academic schedule doesn't allow the 45 days of ADT...they will just put you on "school orders" and you still get the active duty salary for the 1.5 months. I think this is pretty common.

That's what happened to me at OU.

OP, you only actually go to training once and it sounds like you'll probably be going after you graduate. Very common.
