Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew for sure that their home of record determines what state taxes are applied to their HPSP. I’m pretty sure it does.

Also, I’m a Florida resident and since they don’t have a state tax, do I just subtract my federal tax rate which would be 12%, from the stipend and bonus to determine what I’ll likely be receiving?

Thanks so much!

Yes your home of record should determine your state income taxes, but mistakes happen! Please check your LES to make sure they have your correct state listed. They did not for me and it was a nightmare to get fixed!
