Nothing better than a leafy pat on the back. It's like the feeling I get when I walk by lilac bushes. (Call me a pansy, but I love walking with lilacs adjacent).

Also, I can't sleep.
 
I am definitely a fan of flowery strolls myself! I'm so glad it's spring now, it's great to see all the trees and such getting green again 😀

Only ~6ish weeks of school left, and about 7 weeks until graduation! Woop woop!
 
So excited for graduation.

I also went to buy some red Chuck Taylor's, but alas, no size 11's.

Really? We have commencement June 1st. If anyone should be jealous, I think I lead the category.

(Although we get out the 25th, so not necessarily going until June 1st).
 
Well I can't speak for INS, but here our graduation varies from year to year. The only reason we are at the beginning of the month is because we only used two snow days. (Light winter in SD).

I'm so starting Scrubs over spring break. 😛 Which started today! Aww yeah!

I also got my cap + gown and graduation announcements today. I'm sitting here with my cap and tassel on right now. 😀
 
Congrats Ceph! (On spring break and your cap and gown arrival). Where are you at in Scrubs?
 
Hahaha, thank you both! 😛 I haven't started it yet, but I plan on it tonight and/or tomorrow since it's on Netflix. 👍
 
Update: I am 8 minutes and 5 seconds into Scrubs.

I have a feeling this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.😀
 
Three episodes in, I knew it was meant to be. Remember when you meet Jordan for the first time. She has quite a role this season. (1).
 
Just got home from the lake, in March, in Nebraska... Wtf. I blame global warming

It was fun, water's still freezing, but I got a tan/sunburn. I tan so fast that I forget that that I'll occasionally get sunburned. I look like a Greek god* ATM.😎




*it should be noted that Hephaestus is a Greek god.
 
Also what's up with all these parents bragg-I mean asking which school their daughters should go to? Everyone knows that if it's 100% medical school for the final goal and you can't justify the tuition cost you go cheaper...

I honestly didn't notice them until you said that. Nervous parents, I guess. Why they thought creating an account on SDN to ask for advice from high school seniors was a good idea is beyond me.

:laugh: To be completely honest with you, I saw them and was trying to avoid them. Figured it was somehow related to the other threads involving Harvard Medical School, worrying about admission with 4.0 GPA's, etc.

Nope, not ND. I am in VA, heading to DC! (won essay thingy).

Also, those threads confuse me as well. Who would turn down a full ride to USC? That is a fab school! Although you do have that crazy state med school competition....

Lol. Sunburn sucks though, I was in Puerto Rico with friends last year. Worst sunburn of my life, solarcaine/aloe was my best friend.

I remember when I was in Florida a few years ago. Got really bad sunburn on my shoulder. I remember having to hold my shirt off of my shoulder because it hurt so bad. Needless to say, I've better about sunscreen since then.

-_- I know. It's starting to irk me more than a little bit as well. Starting to suspect that CC has launched a covert operation to infiltrate SDN with these people for the purpose of stealing our awesomeness and attempting to transfer it to themselves. :ninja:

Ahhh sunburn. I usually burn once fairly significantly at the beginning of the summer, then it turns into tan and I don't usually get too lobster-like after that.
 
I guess I came over here to tell you how proud of you I am. Not because you did the best you could for those patients, but because after 20 years of being a doctor, when things go badly, you still take it this hard. And I gotta tell you man, I mean, that's the kind of doctor I want to be.

This one time in Mexico (I wish all of my stories started like that). I got a sunburn so bad, that my skin turned black. Then greenish red. It was gross.
 
Goodness gracious. Sunscreen is your friend, compadre. 😛

Ha... Like I'm really one to talk anyways. I'm usually not very good about reapplying unless it's the spray kind in the aerosol cans that takes like 4.29376 seconds to use. 😀
