Huge blunder about course name. Please help

Hi,

I submitted my application a few weeks ago and just realized that I didn't add "and Lab" to a couple of the course names (seven classes total). I called AMCAS and they told me that if it doesn't appear differently from the Official Transcript, then they won't change it. However, on my official transcript it doesn't state "and Lab". These lab courses were for my physics, bio, and anatomy classes.

Can anyone please guide me in the steps I should take? I don't mind re-entering in the verification line if it is possible in any way.

I don't think this is a big deal. At many universities its recognized that "Biology 101" or whatever includes lecture, lab and recitation. The number of credits for the course may also indicate that the course is not just a lecture course.

ahh thanks for the reassurance plumhill. But the question afterward asked did it have a Lab course and I obtusely put "Lecture Only". Now I am wondering if I should try calling AMCAS again (the person I spoke with was very rude), if I should email all the schools, or whatever other options that I may have.

Yeah your'e going to want to call. I don't think it'll be a big deal to fix. But if that doesn't work you can email the schools and clarify that these courses did include lab.
