I'm a human biology major but on the AADSAS application they do not have this, it is either I select 'biology' or other. What do you think I should do? I was thinking 'other' might not look right and had biology chosen right now but was not sure if schools would not like this since it is not my exact major although close.

Thanks again!

Yeah....You can just put biology. I was a physiology major in my undergrad, and I think I just ended up putting down biology. Each school has some slight variations with their majors; I don't think dental schools are too anal about knowing what exactly you majored in. Besides, your official transcript will tell them what you majored in exactly anyway.

I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Hey Biogirl,
Yes I go to Michigan State. Were you in the ASDA pre-dental club? If so, I probably know you by face at least.

i was in the predental club, but i didn't go much second semester due to having 5 classes already on mondays. first semester i went though, i always came with my boyfriend (who is also applying this round) and sat in the second row-ish. i usually wore either a light blue down coat or a black peacoat. did you take physiology and/or genetics this year? if so we were probably in those classes together. good luck with your application 😀
