I was wondering if a Human Osteology course would count as a science class under the "other science" category according to AACOMAS. It's listed under anthropology, but it's literally the study of the human skeleton and its functions. Does anyone know what this course would be classified under? It would be great if it ends up helping my sGPA 😉

Hey, why not. I'd give it a try and classify it as a science course as long as it is relatively rigorous and the syllabus reflects it. I believe I classified some dodgy courses as science and many ended up sticking.

I mean, what Osteopathic school would tell you that the study of structure/function of the skeletal system isn't scientific? (especially compared to some of the bone magic they try to teach us😉) .

Thanks! Sounds like a plan. Do you have to provide syllabi for your courses on the application???
