Trying to decide what to take this fall semester, can anyone give me some input between Human Phys and Cell Phys? I'm considering one of those two.

human physiology is going to be about the major body systems such as cardiovascular, nervous, endocrine, reproductive, all that kind of stuff and what factors influence them.

Cell physio is going to be abouty processes within the cell such as learning all the little stuff about membranes, the nucleus, ER, Golgi, signalling etc.

From the little i've seen, pharmacy schools want you to definitely have Human Physiology, whereas only few others want Cell Bio as a prereq. So I would do Human first if I were you.

At Butler we take Cellular Biology as a pre-req to Microbiology/Immunology but we are also required to take Human Physiology. I'm guessing you've already taken Human Anatomy... Definatley take Human Physiology but you also might want to take Cellular Biology, it might aid you in course further down the road.

i took human physiology at berkeley and it was awesome.. i loved it.. i highly recommend it if you're interested in the subject!

I figured it be something worth in the long run. Can anyone tell me about toxicology?

Human Phys. Very very interesting class, and very very useful, also a pre-req for many schools.

i always wanted to take cell biology. That and virology. never did tho

Human Physiology was my favorite pre-req so far. I had an awesome professor and learned/ retained so much in that class. Cell Biology sounds very interesting as well.

i just skimmed over you post and thought it said learned/******ed

haha
its been a long day....

at any rate i would think both classes would be beneficial but if you can only take one then human phys and pay attention to things like the kidneys and heart...
