I am struggling with deciding when I should take the MCAT. I am POSITIVE that I won't be ready by April '05, but I need some advice about Aug. '05. I already have my ugrad degree (in Fine Arts) and am now finishing my med school pre-reqs a la carte. By Aug of '05 I will have taken most everything but Phys II and O-Chem II. What do you think my chances of doing well would be? Any suggestions?? I'm not opposed to waiting until April '06, but.... Thanks. 😕 😕 😕

sounds like we are in the same boat. I won't be finished with my prereqs by april '05 so I was just going to take it in aug '05. I was told by numerous ppl to make sure I have my app submitted in June/July so that when my scores come back in october or whenever, that will be the only thing the schools will need for me to be completed. I guess you really have to be on top of everything to make sure you don't get behind, but you should be fine with the aug '05 exam. think about it for a while.

no problem talula21, I have been thinking about this for at least 3 months now. I totally understand! 😉 good luck to ya and don't stress about it at all, just do what you have to do.
