How often you guys realized you feel Hungry and have stomach cramps when you are studying. God damn,!!! eating takes too much of my time and after eating I feel sleepy and there you go...... DAY ends!!!:smack:
 
I know exactly what you mean

While I was in undergrad, I would usually have to eat a snack after each 1 hour class, so that I wouldn't get hungry in the next class 😳
 
I get energy through photosynthesis ... it cuts down on break time and makes me the ultimate gunner. While you guys are wasting time fueling inefficiently, I'm prepping to set the curve.

I don't get stomach camps, but while studying for the MCAT I'll just ride out a caffeine buzz and towards the end of a 3 hour session I am about useless because my brain is starving for glucose.
 
When you capitalized Hungry, I was reminded of that one commercial where some pill advertises to keep that orange monster Hungry away. Poor Hungry.
 
I keep food in bar form with me at school... protein bars/breakfast bars/odwalla bars. Not terrible for me, very portable and always available during a long class or a long period of studying.
 
I don't need food it is a waste of time eating lol. I just chugg coffee and rock the class by acing.
 
Just drown those stomach cramps with coffee. After making it past the shakes, I find that I can go for days without eating. Once the ulcers heal, your stomach just becomes that much stronger.

I drink a blended protein shake in milk in the morning after I workout. That keeps me set for up to 4 hours. Blended proteins last a little longer in your system than straight whey. I also keep eating small meals throughout the day. I usually have another shake in the afternoon. Just pay attention to what you eat and don't eat large meals and high sugar foods. Then you will not get tired or crash. Drink LOTS of water throughout the day.

When I'm studying hard I need to double my food and liquid intake to keep from feeling hungry. It gets ridiculous sometimes.


And I don't drink coffee and seem to stay up just fine no matter how much sleep I get. There are other ways of staying awake besides caffeine. 🙄
 
I tend to skip meals these days because I never really feel hungry. Actually, I dislike the "full" feeling, but if faced with all-you-can-eat sushi I will gorge 🙁

Unless you are smoking something else...then you will just get fat. 😉


Just eat healthy snacks that are low in sugar. No cookies and potato chips. High sugar foods will give you a burst of energy but they get metabolized really fast and then you crash and fall asleep.

And drink A LOT of water. It helps you think better too.

Get a 8-12hr protein blend (not whey) and mix it in milk to slow the digestion. Drink it while eating a meal too. That will keep you satiated for a while.

At least try it first and tell me if you are hungry after 2 hrs.
