Hi,
I'm in NYC and am looking to start taking postbacc courses this Spring. I'm thinking of do-it-yourself schools/programs, such as Hunter or CCNY. I know that there is a long thread already for Hunter, but if any of you could share your experiences/opinions about CCNY, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,
bpmd

Hi,
I don't know if this will help you since it is not specifically about CCNY. However, I have a couple of friends who went to CCNY becase they had an awesome premed advisor there. That same advisor is now at Hunter as of Fall 2005 semester, and I can testify to the fact that awesome does not begin to describe how great she is. So if you want an advisor who is knowledgeable and approachable to help you through the process go to Hunter. Just beware that Hunter has a lot of super competitive post bacs that make curving in the science classes almost none existance. So be prepared to work hard!
Good luck.
