Hurricane Ivan and Interview at Tulane

I heard on the news today that hurricane Ivan is heading towards New Orleans.... I have an interview at Tulane early next week and being from California, I've never been into the middle of the hurricane before so I'm kinda freaking out here. Any one from New Orleans have any insight?

If they had the insight, their power would be off anyway. I heard the interviews are cancelled. Mine is next week, so hopefully they are still above sea level when I get there.

i just called - all the interviews for this week were cancelled. as of right now, the interviews for next week are good to go. but apparently the school is closed until saturday.

My interview was supposed to be tomorrow and now I'm glad I didn't fly out. I wonder how many interviewees are stuck there.

I was visiting the campus today, and the place was like a freakin' ghost twon. Even weirder, there was a note on the door that said that Tulane would be interveiwing at the school's new location in Monroe beginning September 27. 😕 😕 😕

Anyone know anything about this?

Some places loose power for 2 weeks, can they interview without power? I have this feeling if I email anyone now they will be evacuated and gone
