HY Anatomy.. too much or just enough? Which is better... HY anatomy for Kaplan anatomy? HY Histo is insanely dense... would you recommend both of these books over Kaplan anatomy/histo?

The good thing about HY Histo is that it is very integrative. Histo is, in fact, the lowest yield subject on the boards but this book incorporates physio, path, pharm, and anatomy into every subject it covers. I used this book to "cap" every organ system I studied and I think it helped me w/ my retention.

I found the new edition of HY Gross a little long winded for my tastes and used an older edition.

I didn't use the Kaplan books in my studies so I have no basis for comparison.

i hear gud things about HY histo... even though i still used the kaplan one.... just cant stand the sub though....
