I wanted to get the HY behavioral science book and saw that there is a new high yield "brain and behavior" in the "high yield systems series" - written also by fadem - should i get this one rather than beh science, or both?

I used the one book for both - I liked it. A lot of Fadem's behav sci is in that book. I felt that HY BnB and FA neuro were enough to make sure that nothing was missed.

all righty, so Brain and Behavior should take care of the Behavioral Science portion or no?

I'm not sure if you posed the question again to revive the topic or if I wasn't clear - I probably wasn't clear b/c I tend to ramble ...

Yes, I found HY BnB + First Aid Behav Sci + First Aid Neuro to be plenty-good for the exam (my score's posted elsewhere on sdn). If you get HY BehavSci, do not bother getting HY BnB, and vice versa, because all of BehaviSci is shoved in BnB. The glory of HY BnB is that if you buy that one book, you do not need a separate neuro book ... in summary:

HY BnB ... OR
HY BehavSci + HY Neuro ... OR
HY BehavSci + USMLE Roadmap Neuroscience (this neuro book doesn't get much attention, but I would have definitely chosen it over HY Neuro had I not already purchased HY BnB)

Ok I gotcha - it was my fault, I was being slow...really needed it spelled out for me there🙂

That said, since I have already annotated the crap out of HY neuro maybe I'll just get HY Behavioral. I too didnt hear about Roadmap Neuro, I've seen some people using it and seems nice.

ps thank you for the help!
