HY Neuro - which edition?

I've noticed that a lot of ppl seem to agree that HY Neuroanat is a good choice. I was just wondering if there's any preference for which edition, 3rd or 4th?

yeah neuro is the bane of my existance in med school as well. Some recomend HY, some clinical micro made simple and others RR (used for the class and its great but very detailed) info please

bump, im about to buy the HY neuroanatomy book and would also really like to hear from others which edition is better! 🙂

Hey I compared the 2 editions, and the only difference is that they moved the pages around a bit. The new edition has a better chapter layout, but in terms of material, it's exactly the same as the old one, from what I could tell. So I would say go for the cheaper one 🙂

I have an old 2nd edition copy, are there big changes between that and the newer ones? Don't feel like buying one more book....

I did my first read-through of HY Neuro last month during Neuro Path and Psycho Path lecture, and I absolutely loved it. It's a really quick read and hit everything. Highly recommended.

Can't say much about the other editions, but I loved my 4th Edition. It was roughly 170 pages before you got to glossary/index sections.
