How useful are these notes in preparing for the exam? I've been going through them as well and they are really dense like what the OP said. Any endorsements for these notes from the people who have already taken the Step 1?

I found that after you go through his book/audio the high yield stuff was pretty much stuff you knew already. It's definitely good stuff but not something that you should do at the expense of reviewing something else that you are weaker on.
