Is it possible for one to go to an Irish or UK medical school than transfer into say AUC or Ross to complete US clinicals. One would have to pass Step I prior to clinical correct. I am aware of the "bridge" program. WOuld it be worth the hassle for one to do this or should one just complete all of there education in the caribbean? Cheers.😎

You'd have to check with AUC and ROSS to see if they accept transfers. Some Carribean schools do, but I don't know about those 2 schools. It's up to you whether it's worthwhile or not. Maybe you'd accept all the negatives to get to live in Ireland for a couple or 3 years and find it a good trade off? The down sides would be that it would cost more, take an extra year, complicate all your future applications by adding one more place to get transcripts sent from, add little to nothing to your education since preclinical learning is done almost entirely from books anyway, etc.

Yes, going to a Carrib Med school will give you much desired US clinical rotations. However, if you can get accepted to a UK or Irish Medical school, why would you not prefer to finish up and graduate from there? In general a UK medical degree will be more respected than if you graduted from a Carrib school. 👍
