my question in general, for a health person, what level of 02 saturation would someone loose consiousness? has anyone who works in hospital seen people loose consiousness from low blood oxygen saturation and what did the oxymiter read?

I've been involved in a project studying intermittent hypoxia for the past four years. So all I can say is that rats die within a day when they're exposed to sustained hypoxia when the PO2 is less than 6%.
