Hi all I am Pre-DO and I have posted here before. If this message is not deemed not appropriate for this forum I apologize.

In about 3 weeks I leave to ride my bicycle 585 miles in 7 days to raise money for people suffering from HIV/AIDS. The money is used for much needed medication for those who don't have insurance, and for outreach and assistance related to HIV/AIDS.

If you feel compelled to help me, or you want to learn more please click the link to my donor page. It has my training journal, more info about the ride and the organizations it supports. Of couse any donation is 100% tax deductible.

I think those in the medical field and those going into the medical field have a vested interest in HIV/AIDS which is why I am posting this here.

Here is the link www.aidslifecycle.org/3541

Thank you 🙂

I am a cyclist too and that sounds like a really fun ride. I am sorry but probably like most pre DO students I do not have much money. I do wish you luck and remember to have fun.

Thanks! I just have to finish my fundraising.

Please SOMEONE make a pledge. There has been over 100 views and not even $1 pledged from this board.

I will REALLY appreciate it.

i LOVED this ride!!! Loved all the fun "pit stops" too... strawberries in Santa Maria etc!!! I learned about this when I did traffic control for the riders as they rode thru the city where I worked as a police officer... what an AWESOME and FUN group of people!

If anyone's interested, it's fun to get your feet wet as a "roady" and helping out, then riding the following year.
