Since nobody currently holds this position, I view that it is completely legitimate for me to declare myself the King of Premedom.
I'm not going to be a brutal dictator; I will do everything to ensure that the premed population is happy and prosperous. If you contact me asking for help, I will not hesitate to use all of my powers(physical, metaphysical and magical) to make sure that your problems are solved.
In return for my kind gestures, I expect that you play a role in the validification of the "King of Premedom" title. Therefore, I have created a poll which will legitimize my leadership role. If the poll results in a positive turnout(50%+ of you accept me as your King), then the "King of Premedom" title will be completely legitimate. Thus, allowing me to use the title for medical school admission purposes.
What do you get out of this?
Firstly, you should be honored that a person of my social-calibre has made the decision to be your king. Secondly, there are going to be an indefinite number of positions(princes, princesses, grand viziers, viziers, etc.) that need to be filled after the title validification process...Yes, you could potentially play an important [lucrative] role within premed society. 🙂
