I didn't add my AMCAS ID # to my application updates, but I submitted the updates as documents directly to my secondary portal. Is this okay?
In all likelihood, it is fine. Back when things were paper and a person in the "file room" had to locate your paper file and insert your update into the paper file, it helped to have the AMCAS ID #, and even today it would still be helpful if you expect the reader of an email to open your application, but if you are depositing this yourself into your file, it isn't a disaster to omit your ID#.
