I don't really have any real job experience except for a part-time job being a camp counselor the summer before freshman year but I don't know if I'll even mention this in my app. I'll be a junior next year and all of the extracurriculars I've been doing are non-paid. Is this going to be a problem as far as how my med school app is viewed? (I most likely won't have financial problems in the future).

However, many medical schools will ask you on secondaries or in interviews how you supported yourself through UG. Working in UG lets schools know that you aren't entitled (I am not saying that you are entitled), and shows that you can manage your time well.

You got to be kidding me....if you worked even a very short time period as a camp counselor this should definitely be mentioned on your application. You can weave that into so many different stories and situation to promote yourself. I mentioned camp counselor on my app and it was brought up at almost every interview I attended. There are so many good qualities that this can demonstrate if you highlight them in the proper fashion.
