I'm not really superstitious. But I don't like the 666. Perhaps it's the Catholic upbringing.

Anyone notice we are starting to catch up to the optho forum again, at least in number of posts if not # of threads. Threads we will always be fighting a losing battle because they will keep having "what are my chances of matching" threads and "Isn't retinitis pigmentosa utterly fascinating" threads. A couple of days ago we were a hundred posts behind. Now it's less than 25 I think.

And the Red Sox lost today so I have to blame something. I blame the 666 threads.

I don't have instant messenger anymore. I was being stalked via IM and thus I just stopped using it. My stalker did not quite become the level of the unfortunate Catherine Zeta Jones' stalker.

You could be preparing for your internal medicine month by sticking sharp needles under your fingernails and repeatedly banging your head against the wall. I could be preparing for autopsy by getting out the vics vapo rub and perusing the obituaries section. Mildred died after a brief illness. Yeah, she stepped in front of a bus!

The problem with coming up with a new IM screenname is that you have to re-do your friends list and then go out of your way to let them all know that you have a new SN. I hope I never have a stalker that will drive me to change my SN. BTW, I just thought of another thing to deter stalkers. Apparently you can block certain people on your friends list. That way, on their end it appears that you are not online. Of course, that means the stalker would have to be on your friends list...and that just wouldn't be keepin it real 🙂
