am I ruined?

I droped it with a W, it wont hurt my gpa but ofcourse it will stay there on my transcript.

Is this gonna hurt me much?

I don't think that one or two W's will be a problem, especially if you are doing well in your other classes. They understand that when you start doing your prereqs things might come up that will make you need to drop a class. If you end up with a lot more W's, though, you might need to explain it.

Don't fret over it. I had a bunch of Ws on my transcript (over 12) and i was still accepted to pharmacy school. Just try your best and you'll be fine.

generally, how many W's are acceptable? how many is too much?

definitely more than 5 is weird... unless theres a good reason. 1-3 is reasonable.

I sprained my ankle and had to drop my jiu jitsu and running classes.

If I explain that, will it be that much of a problem, or will they even care since it's not a pre-req?

thats perfectly reasonable - they have to not care.

what if you withdrew from a pre-req then went back and completed it two years later....:scared:

Jiu Jitsu nice, do you watch MMA?

MMA RULES!!!

I'm planning on taking some classes hopefully this spring. 🙂

I wonder if I should tell them my hobbies are MMA. Maybe they might think I'm violent or something.

Yeah, I wont sweat over this dropped class I suppose.

It's my only W and its the last one.

And I watch MMA also, been a big fan and watched every UFC and pride show until recently with school gettin in the way.

I was really considering getting a R in a class as well which is the same as in withdrawing, however im applying to an accelerated program do you guys think that it will look bad in making it seem like i cant handle the work load?
