Now I'm curious. What was the lecture topic?

It's about the autonomic nervous system. Lots of very detail physiology and we have to know all the drugs that effect it...all the different receptors and neurotransmitters and many different mechanisms etc.

The hardest part about it is the professor that we have has a very different teaching style. Most of his notes are actually PICTURES with nothing else on it. He will talk about a picture for a very long time. He speaks very fast and it's hard for me to write down EVERYTHING that comes out of his mouth. I don't have much work experience either so many of the drugs are unfamiliar to me. I have a degree in chemistry so I don't have much background of very detailed physiology either so that's kinda new to me too. I wish the professor would give out better notes...pictures don't help me. I need WORDS. I am going to go back and relisten to some of the lectures. I have never had any reason to relisten to any lectures...but this time I have to! Sucks!

I am a full decade older than you, and I just headed back to school a few years ago. My husband also went to Pharmacy school in his mid 30's. When he was debating whether to go back to school or not, my aunt asked him "where are you going to be in 10 years ? Older with a degree or older without a degree ? "
You can't avoid getting older, but you can keep progressing towards goals.
