i just took my first Kaplan Practice Test and almost cried after. I genuinely thought I was doing wellon the sciences but I guess not. Here are my results...I'd really appreciate some genuine feedback.

my overalls are still pretty much the same...nothing changed by PAT and GC 🙁

I scored around a 21 TS on topscore, but scored a 19 on kaplan. Dot worry about the score - learn from your mistakes. None of te practice scores matter - just your final one.

my mistake i thought that second score was from last year. an 18 on both practice test isnt bad. like from above just learn from the mistakes you made and notice trends. do that and you'll score higher on the actual exam

Isn't kaplan supposed to be way too difficult anyway?
topscore is more close to the real dat than kaplan. i wouldn't worry too much honestly.

Relax. I was getting 14-17 on the practice tests and ended with 20+ on everything except QR (19) on the real thing. Maybe I just got lucky, but I do feel like test prep practice tests are usually a lot harder.

I would highly recommend getting the DAT Destroyer. My score for the kaplan midterm and final were the same so I freaked and went through the GC and OC problems in 5 days and my score for the kaplan practice test 1 was wayyyyy higher.

Kaplan is actually easier. But, this is your first exam so don't worry about it. There's a reason you keep practicing. Get DAT Destroyer too for extra help.

I don't know if Kaplan was actually easier per say. I was doing 15-17 on them and did way better on my real DAT. Just learn from what you missed and stay on schedule with the studying you have been doing

Kaplan PAT seems ridiculously easy compared to the real thing from what I saw. I was getting 30s on the PAT stuff from there. I will say, the GC on the real thing did not have many calculations compared to Kaplan.

I guess it is different for different people. As I said, I agree that the real gen chem was easy compared to Kaplan because of a lack of calculations, but I feel like Kaplan Bio and Ochem were pretty comparable, if not a little easier than the real thing. I would suggest TopScore for a really accurate representation of your score.
