I finally get to start one of the "I'm Done With the DAT" threads!

I took the DAT 8/23, and I thought it was so friggin hard. I guess that is why I was really happy when I saw my scores:

PA 18
QR 17
RC 18
BIO 18
GC 18
OC 21
TS 19
AA 18

I am pretty satisfied with my scores. Without the help from the awesome people on SDN (mochafreak, cowsgomoo, jhui, streaksomething, richnator, rajmahal, and everyone else!!) Btw, I didn't get lost getting to the testing site! It was a piece of cake 🙂

Decent scores, I guess. The percentiles are really low though, so when my mom saw my scores, she was like, how come you can't read? (Referring to the 38 percentile for RC).

I am from Massachusetts, so I really want to go to either Tufts or BU. I don't think my scores secure me a spot in either school, but I hope that I can get an interview at least. Oh btw, do you think I should even bother sending my application fee and secondary to UPENN? (I have a 3.0 BCP, 3.2 Science, and 3.6 Overall GPA)

Lastly, if you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. I figure that there are so many threads by other folks who've done much better than me, you should take their advice, not mine.

It feels really good to be done with the DAT. I am getting my long overdue haircut tomorrow (split ends up to Here!) and my eyebrows waxed. Yeah, I look like a man. I really gotta cut my nails too. Alright, well, thanks again to all you SDNers! The forums and advice I read on this site is worth much more than the thousand dollars for Kaplan 😛

Congratulations on your scores! You are finished. Yeah! Now you can relax.

I just wanted to post about the eyebrow waxing and haircut comment. That cracked me up. I am having the same problem. I have dark roots about two inches long. I haven't worn make-up in months. Sometimes I look in the mirror and my eyebrows just scare me. I can't wait to get freshened up and back into society once I finish my test.

I too finished today! I will be posting my experience later guys, but I never knew it would feel this good! I had to travel by plane to the test center, so I spent a good amount of money (over $1000) just to get to the test center, luckily it worked out great, congrads again, those are good scores!

Congrats Missserica...I was gettting worried because you weren't posting your scores. Those are good scores. That's funny about the eyebrow waxing, the DAT does turn normal people into hermits. Good luck with your interviews and everything. 👍

Oh I see! An alum! So, you're applying this year as well? Were you a bio major?
