is positive pressure ventilation possible with this device? A rep brought a similar device that claims that you can ventilate through it with a peak pressure >30. Also it had a little reservoir for ~15ml of gastric fluids. Interesting device.

We had some on trial here, and came to the consensus we didn't care for them. Kept getting big leaks and inadequate seal. Mind you, my sample size of two leads to quite a diminished study power. LMA > igel, in my opinion.

Interested to hear other's thoughts.

Still like the clear disposable LMAs better.

Agreed. Was around when the first LMAs were breaking out in the states, and it totally looked like it.
