I checked back at the interview invite thread and noticed that he got his invite around 8/25 (I think) so his interview was possibly in the week of September 25-29. But still, nothing is certain. If only hopeful could be here to answer our questions directly. I'm here stuck at work swamped and I can't help but think I have a letter waiting for me at home. Worse yet, I forgot my cell phone at home and cannot find out if I even got a letter or not.

I got an interview invitation for 10/19 on the 5th...for some reason, the email listed the names of the recipients, which was a little odd...you'd think they would for sure make an anonymous group listserve. and, there was only me and 2 other people on it.😕

...add that to the very early acceptance and tulane is clearly a little uncoventional.

I plan to have a celebration dinner when I fly back to my home state, and probably will travel the world. Again good luck to all in your quest to getting into medical school. Oct 15 is an approximate "target date" and not necessarily a "Match Day"-like date... kind of like the way the Nobel Prizes are announced "around" a particular day.

Awesome job man! Congrats, you're in, you're part of the members-only club. Now enjoy the hiatus before gross starts... if you're traveling, I highly suggest a trip to Greece

Yeah this is why I'm glad I haven't gone to a school that lets you call. It would be too tempting for me to not call. But I don't want to cry in front of a complete stranger if its a rejection.

I interviewed on the 5th. I called admissions on Tuesday and they said a decision has not been made yet. On the handout they gave us at the interview didn't it say that the ADCOM met on Thursdays? So, hopefully those of us that interviewed in early october should hear back some time next week.

I wouldnt worry just because Ive heard before you. I live less than 10 miles from the med school and I'm a Tulane undergrad.

I seem to be seeing a pattern here. Those that got accepted seem to have heard within two weeks of the interview, which makes me a little uneasy since its been three weeks since mine. I'm still not giving up hope though. Good luck to the rest of you who are in the same boat I am.
