I got a phone call this morning early and missed it. I was really concerned considering schools rarely call you for good things. Next thing you know they are telling me that they wanted to let the first to be accepted know that they were accepted before they sent out letters!!

I mean I got a 94 on the PCAT and had about 3.3 GPA but I was still stressing regardless.

I got the call while I was in class as well...I was a little worried about why they were calling. But it turned out to be good news, so no complaints from me! 😀 Congrats to everyone who got accepted!

AHH! Mercer calls right after i get done with my last class (i love the timing). I got in! OMG, I am so excited I don't know what to do with myself. I was so nervous the entire application process.

When Mary Ellen called she left a message. I believe that the latest you can call back is 5:00

its lax because they accept with low gpa

at ubc, average pcat is 89, average gpa is 3.7

I'm wondering if anyone can answer this question for me. I participated in the October 19th interview, which went extremely well for me. Both the faculty member and the student that interviewed me said that I did excellent and that they could tell that I had prepared for the interview well. I am a nationally certified pharmacy tech with a 3.7 G.P.A. I do participate in extracurricular activities and community service. My PCAT, however, is only a 61 composite. When I received the invite for my interview, it also stated, "The committee wants to see another PCAT score for you." I'm wondering if I could still be accepted or if they will hold a spot for me until I retake the PCAT on Jan 20th. Please help!!

OMG, me too! I was at my internship and missed the call! I called back but she had left for a luncheon 🙁 I was in lab when she called back and I almost ran out of there to take the call! Congrats to all especially those at the Sept. 28th interview. We were all great candidates!

I have been a pharm tech for over 4.5 yrs (startedin high school) and got certified in Sept. I volunteered at a free clinic, I have an internship (not pharmacy related), Honor Society, Newspaper staff writer, and secretary of 2 clubs.
