Congrats guys! I got a letter back from Houston recently too, saying my application was "tabled"...hope I'm able to get in still.
I interviewed on 3/2 but I still haven't heard back yet..I'm tired of all this waiting!

nervermind, i answered my own question. i feel like such an idiot for not checking my mail yesterday. i got accepted, hooray!

At least what you are having will be useful next Fall! This physical chem 2 class I am tolerating is the worst subject on earth. All these thing that I have to memorize and regurgitate out will not be used at all for the rest of my life. I am just so sick of it. Anyhow... I still have to suck it up and get it done then... no any other way 🙁
I am having biochem 2 this semester and really enjoy it. I guess you just need to find the aspect within it that interests you like drug mechanism or diseases then. Good luck and see you next Fall!

I interviewed on 3/2 and got the letter on 3/19. i don't think it will necessarily hurt you to only have 2 years of college. i think there are advantages to both-if you have a degree it shows you have matured a little more i guess, but if you completed your pre-reqs in only 2 years it shows that you can handle a high work load in short amount of time. they didn't say anything to me about my degree, but i saw on their website that 50% have a bachelor or higher.
I think we are going to outnumber everyone else! My friend and I can count at least 7 Aggies we know between us that will be going to UH.

CONGRATS to everyone that got in!! how exciting & relieving for you guys!! I just found this website today because I've been searching for interview tips and etc. I have an interview at UH april 27th. this will be my only interview so i am nervous but I hope my chances are still okay. I am guessing I will be among the last batch of interviewers since this is SO late in the process. However, I really have my hopes set high since this is my 1st choice school! if any of u guys who already interviewed and got in have any tips for me I'd love to hear them! !
Hey PharmacistUH - be nice to the Aggies (or I will beat you up during orientation 😀 )! It's a great school. Even though I will be going to UH, I will always be an Aggie!
On a side note, I wonder how many other people that interviewed with us got in. I'm assuming pretty much everyone did since we had the first interview date but I could be wrong. I cant wait to finally meet everyone!

🙂 All of my cousins go to A&M, I am the black sheep by going to UH. I get made fun of all the time, so I've learned to dish it out a bit, nothing personal😀. On your other question, I am not too sure if EVERYONE got in, but I would assume that unless you really said something to piss them off, you got in. I can't wait to meet everyone as well, it's going to be very exciting once orientation and whatnot happens. Did you get an email from them linking to an orientation website?
To the person who asked if you have seen me in the Pharmacy school building, I would assume so. I have been to UH for both of my pre-reqs and have been a declared pre-pharm major, so I have had advising in there. I also know a few people currently in pharm school, so I have been in there talking to them.
