Alright, I hate AMCAS.

I received a secondary (based on preliminary data) from USUHS. I sent my transcripts on the 11th and AMCAS still has not received it. If I send in my secondary now, do you guys think they well put it on hold until the primaries come in?

Probably, a stupid question, but just a way for me to complain.

If they already sent you a secondary that probably means they've opened a file on you. I think you're good to go 😉

Hey I'm in the same boat as you. I don't know why AMCAS won't verify me, as lots of people who submitted after me are getting verified quickly! I went ahead and sent the USUHS secondary today, so I'm hoping in the next few days of them sorting their mail I'll be verified.

My application has not been verified either, but I went ahead and mailed in my GW secondary. I'm still waiting on my committee letter of recommendation, but I figure that it will take a while for them to log receipt of everything, so might as well send it in earlier.
That being said, if you need more time to finish it, I'm sure you could wait until your amcas is verified.

i think it just takes AMCAS a while to report that they've received your transcripts. try not to worry. if you haven't heard from AMCAS in a few days, i suggest you call the schools where you requested your transcripts from to make sure that they've sent it out. if they have, then call AMCAS to check the status of your app.
