😕 I just hate pharma. The more i try to read it the more phobia im developing.....i dont know what to do & how to crack this subject. can anyone advise😕😕

Cover a little bit every day - break it down by classes. Don't review this subject in 8 hour blocks.

I really liked Lippincott's but few seem to agree with me.

If you are pressed for time, the best way would probably be to use FA as a skeleton and then flesh out the rest of your knowledge with flash cards. (I thought Lippincott's does a good job of explaining items more and exposed me to a couple more drugs. Then again, most of the feedback that I've gotten is that the drugs in FA are all you really need to know)

I don't like pharm much either... I took FA and made my own notes and drawings (mneumonic type) for the each section. It helped me organize them better in my brain and I'm gonna review them a few more times... As of now, I am far, far from ready for the pharm on my COMLEX this coming week

You know, I enjoy Lippincott's as well (the biochem book is awesome). Its just long. I gave up trying to read through it, and just jump to it for reference every now and then. I guess it depends on how much time you have. But if I had to choose, I'd much rather read through Lippincott's than Lange.

At this point, I'm just using FA most of the time and every now and then I read over these summarized pharm printouts I have sitting next to my toilet. You know, to read when I'm, uh, doing my business. 😀

That crap was high-yield on my test, and pretty difficult. Those were the only pharm q's where FA wasn't really enough.
