i would rather have a well-qualified ORM or white person treat me and getting into the best schools than have a mediocre or below average URM get in just to increase diversity. if they have the stats, then fine, great, they deserve to be there. but if they don't match up to most applicants (which most don't), then i say that's bull.
i can't be the only one who thinks this.

I can't believe somebody would say something like that!

Those people are just as qualified as all the other qualified applicants. If their scores happen to be a point or two lower, it doesn't mean they will make worse doctors. It means that their disadvantaged past of slavery and discrimination kept them from the same benefits that white people were enjoying meanwhile! Every single student will undergo the same studies and exams to make sure they will make great doctors one day. You should seriously be ashamed of your prejudice and bitterness towards other human beings!
