This process sux! I mean, I hate not having any feed back what so ever untill you get an interview invite or a reject letter. The Texas Schools will not even tell you untill Feb. 1 if you are not accepted. :-( Oh well, just wondering if anyone else is feeling the pain.

The pain binds us all. 🙂

The application process sucks a$$.

Yep. I agree, it's hard...

I hate all the waiting around ... waiting for the secondaries to come, waiting for them to get it and review it, waiting for the people at my school to send recommendations, waiting for the interview invite, waiting for acceptance/rejection ... I just wish this all would move faster!

I'm just glad I won't be going through this process for a LONG time. I'll probably spend 2 years in between college and med school doing volunteer work. Even though it's a really long, drawn-out process...I think it's more than worth it in the end. I think it's best to just take things one day at a time and to just focus on what you're doing in the present and try to do best in whatever you're currenlty involved. If you keep yourself very busy, the days generally tend to fly by pretty quickly.

WORD!

I just wish that once you drop that completed secondary into the mailbox, you could forget about it and not worry about it not getting to its destination, and the postal service losing it somewhere...same with LOR's....with all the schools people apply to, one or a few are bound to get lost or misplaced or delayed

the things we do to do what we want...

I just wish we had a date that we knew for sure we would find out. Instead of this having an interview in november, finding out you are waitlisted in April, then still waiting for a phone call or email in August. Cause this really sucks being on waitlists.

this is exactly how we felt last year.

hey pme....IM SOO RIGHT THERE WITH YOU!! how are you coping? said any prayers lately? im waitlisted at three schools and the anticipation is driving me nuts! Good luck to you!
😉

i have never been so stressed in my life. for the first time, i think that i am getting anxiety attacks

Haven't had an anxiety attack yet, but I'm getting that feeling of resignation (i.e., "I don't give a @#$!") much sooner than I had anticipated. I just want to pick one school, send the secondary, and that's that. In reality, I have over two dozen of these to fill out, all of them unscreened and will probably amount to NOTHING.

Just out of curiosity. Which schools don't have any formal questions in their secondary? I should probably start a new thread for this.
AAK
