ummm have u looked at the unc sod applicant thread? Those guys are insane....I'm competing against them for OOS.

Those are really good stats man. Be patient and you'll definitely get in.

@fellowstudent92, you're doing great. Just be patient and calm, and let the interview invitations trickle in. I definitely understand that people on this site can make you a little anxious and nervous about your chances, but realize that many posters here are also at the top of the applicant pool. Use this site for motivation and to push you to become the best applicant that you can be. It has many great resources, and many people, myself included, are experiencing the same emotions that you are. We are all here to support each other as each of us goes through the process. Your numbers are great and you have solid EC's. Thus, the invitations will follow...you just have to give it a little bit of time. Concentrate on preparing for the interviews that you have been invited to, and feel honored to have received 2 invitations already. Many people do not even get that chance. Best of luck with your application process, and feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns man!

I'm with OP on this one, I don't know why people are ripping on him. You work your ass off in college, get top grades, score higher than everyone else on the DAT and do a ton of EC, you should feel fine expecting more than someone who didn't put as much effort. Honestly I have better stats than OP and i ONLY have 2 interview and I'm pissed about that fact. You can call us whatever you want, but bottom line we expect more because we invest that much more time to be better.

you made a lot of people hate this site now. 🙂

How do I delete this thread?

dont let ppl get to you. dont forget the avg accepted student is only a 19/20 dat. the avg dat score for ppl on this forum is apparently a 23... haha take everything ppl say with a grain of sand and dont worry bout pissing ppl off

I like how you added your stats were better haha. This is why I love this website it's just full of gems.

Sorry to say this, but even though your GPA, sGPA, AA, TS, and EC's are all well above average, your 20 on the PAT is only slightly above average. Maybe retake the DAT or post-bac? /s

The people of SDN sure do know how to beat a dead horse.

Much like Facebook may make you feel lonely and depressed, the invite threads are likely only going to make you feel worse. I can't say I'm feeling any better, because I got an invite to UNC last year - and I might be in if I hadn't shown up sleepy (don't lose your drivers license in a faraway land).

And yeah, you're being trolled hard here. 😉

No where, that's why I'm applying again.

I remain hopeful. I saw this thread Friday, and I knew exactly what you were talking about. I think the benefit of having a timetable and better way to rate yourself outweighs being totally in the dark about the process...

Actually, I think something in that article would tell me that's hogwash. Ignorance may be bliss.
