hello. everyone.
I have an interview on 3/03 at USC
so..I want to ask PBL questions to those who recently have gone to USC.
what kind of cases you have ? and what was your writing topic ? and any comment ?

please help me

thank you

Basically, you can't really prepare for anything at a USC interview.

The writing topic is random and requires no knowledge of anything. It's opinion based and used to see if you can form a complete sentence.

The PBL session also requires no previous knowledge of any kind. Just participate and try to "get into" the session. Be active but don't interupt someone else. Also, try to volunteer to read and write on the board.

So, there is no need to ask others what their essay was on or the topic of the PBL. If you want to prepare, read up on the PBL process.

Good Luck.

Don't get too depressed at the financial aid part!!

the pbl case i had was a joke. just make sure you talk alot, even if you are not correct, u need to show you want to participate. for the writing, just be coherent, they want to see that you can think and write at the same time under a time limit.

when did they contact you for USC interview? do you think their class is full yet!

I got an email invitation on 2/07/06.
and I think there are still enough seats b/c USC is very expensive and many people do not like PBL like me.

so If I am accepted from u of pitt, I do not go to the USC interview.
pitt will start making phone calls on this Thu and Fri.

I question if the interview even factors into your acceptance/rejection at USC. In my interview group, there were a couple of guys that hardly participated in the mock PBL and were given acceptances.

Are you class of 2010, if so when did you interview? I interviewed on the 20th of Jan and am still waiting.....
