I just took a CARS diagnostic test and got 55 percent and 52.28 percentile. How does it convert to the section score?

I took the free test on a company website (don't know if it's okay to reveal the name) and I got 22 questions correct out of 40. I'm a rising sophomore and I am a non-native speaker of English. If someone can guess the section score for me based on their experience, I can base my study plan and know where I stand.

No 3rd party company comes close with CARS practice or diagnostics so there is not a great way to answer your question. My advice would be to start reading passages (you can find thousands of free ones online) without answering the questions and just work on reading comprehension. Try to establish the main idea and actively think about it while reading. When you are in active study mode for the MCAT you can start doing AAMC CARS passages with the questions.
