Hello everyone thanks for reading my thread first.
I just took my DAT last August 24th... and this is what I got...
I just wanna get an idea how competitive condidate I am.
It would be nice if you guys could interpret my test scores and give me brief ideas of how much chance I have

AA: 20
TS: 21
Bio: 20
Gchem: 23
Ochem: 22
RC: 17
QR: 17

PAT: 26

Tips for studying
I used Kaplan book to study along with Internet materials for everything except PAT section
Pat from Kaplan is too easy compare to real test
So I had pat cracker
Also I used DAT destroyer for Gchem and Ochem
I would say if u go through all these should cover at least 90% of materials that u need to know for the test but not 100% fully science sections are too broad especially bio

Please put some comment on my dat score cuz i have low qr and rc
Also ihave 3.3gpa

you have decent numbers. The biggest disadvantage is that 17 in RC, but I dunno if that warrants a retake just yet... I'd wait it out and see what happens this cycle.

Your PAT score is pretty solid, most school don't care as much about your QR and RC. I have a friend that got 15 on the QR and still got into UoP because his PAT was a 27. I would definitely apply this cycle and wait to take it again if you don't get in anywhere. Just kill the interview 😛

What doc toothache is trying to say is that while schools care less about the QR section than the sciences, RC is very important (possibly more important than your TS score). I have read that there is a positive correlation between RC scores and board scores for part I...This could be the reason the RC score is held so highly.

I've also heard about the positive correlation for the RC and board scores.
