Don't worry you'll be there soon, third year is like the begining of the Wizard of Oz where Dorothy is on the farm and it is grey and grainy, and fourth year is like when her house lands in Oz and everything is beautiful, easy to understand and in color (minus the evil flying monkeys).

I'm pretty sure I have had better years...no I am 100% sure I have had better years, but there is something so sweet about 4th year. Its like someone just beat the hell out of you forever and then it just stops - except for the 2CK crap...

Looking back, i just have to ask myself, why?

I'm so jealous - my fourth year is going to be ruined b/c I had to defer surgery until Sept-Oct of my fourth year - sad.... I want to have fun again - I feel like a doormat🙁

While some transitional years may be considered cush relative to other intern years, I guarantee you that the overwhelming majority of transitional years are still 10X harder than your 4th year of medical school.
