I am here to advocate for those of us who love meth!
The rush, the feeling of being powerful, the ability to be on call as long as a neurosurg resident...
Although I agree with Copro that we should not even think about opioid abuse as anesthesiologists, I fully embrace the joys of home-cooked chemicals.
It helps me understand my pts' mental state and physiology. And better, I don't have to brush my teeth any more! THey are all gone. I am no longer at risk for strep viridans endocarditis. Now, who's laughing?!
