What Is This Bench Exam?
Is It The Same As That Held In Some Universities Along With The Interview For Admission To Dds?

no not yet , but i m expecting from NYU . do you know me? i have also applied for NSU & UB (both have bench test) . but they didnt tell what it is?
do you know anything about bench test (what we have to do ? fee?anything)
i m so confused with the clinical licensure exam .

hi,
to clear your doubt about bench exam.... its a exam taken in california,also referred to as the restorative technique exam.... those people who completed part 1 and 2 national boards,before dec 2003,are eligible to take the bench test. by taking the bench test you don't have to go to 2 yrs of idp/dental school,u can give the test and then california license exam. but this is limited to those who made it before dec 2003. whoever wants to practise in ca now has to follow the same rules as other states,which is join the foreign dentists program for 2or 3 yrs... and as far as i know only california used to have this bench test... i don't know about buffalo,or other states...

hi thanks ,but i want to know about bench test (as a part of interview process) for admission to IDP in some universities like NSU (Nova) & UB (Buffalo).

the bench test u are asking is the test taken during interview to get into the school. i applied to nsu too but i am not sure what procedure they want us to do in the interview, havent got a call yet. hope this helps
