Hello Folks,
I matched on my third attempt. I wanted to thanks all of you who helped me on this forum with there advice. I will always be grateful to you all.
Now my question is what now. Which books should I refer to get ready for the PG1. I haven`t seen any patient for last 2 years. I really need to refresh my knowledge. Please share your info.
Once again thanks all of you for bearing me.

It took you three tries to match into family practice!?! What did you do, murder someone in medical school?

Congratulations on matching.🙂

Good job sticking with it and not giving up! It is easy to look at the negative, but I suppose that is relative to the individual. Keep up the good work.

That is impressive, I would have thrown in the towel and enrolled in business school . What did you do for two years while you weren't working with patients? Hopefully something related to medicine.

congratulations! pick up 'current medical diagnosis and traement' - it has EVERYTHING, including OB. it just doesn't have peds. also consider 'Taylor's Family Meidcine' for point of care reading.

Well murdering somebody was not the reason for my two failures in securing the residency spot. As you know I am an IMG. Traditionally it has always been hard for IMG to get into a program. Upon that I had no guidance. I learn most of the application stuff by going through forums. I was weak at my communication skills.
After my second failure I did wanted to say good bye to the health care and get enroll in some other school but my wife gave me hope and today I am in a good program.
So once again thank you all of you for your advice. You all played unique roles in my quest for the residency.
